Honestly, who the head coach is matters very little as long as Jerry is constantly meddling and preventing the coach from really calling the shots.

Parcells was at least able to make Jerry have to fork over some control on personnel decisions because Jerry needed the new stadium.
But, once Jerry got what he wanted, he went back to his old ways and forced T.O. on old Bill, and he finally had enough.
I believe if Jerry had managed to restrain himself one more year and Parcells had returned to coach in 2007, that team makes it past NY at home and makes it to the Super Bowl.

Something I’m glad I never got to hear.
