CL has been very consistent and has stated all along that he didn't want Lebron on the Lakers. In fact, a couple of years ago, when Mitch got the opportunity to actually meet with Lebron about joining the Lakers, CL was the only Lakers fan who wasn't hoping Mitch would somehow manage to get him to sign.

It's not that CL would stop being a Lakers fan or wouldn't enjoy any titles the Lakers won. He can still love the team, but not like the player. Many of us Lakers fans felt similarly about Kobe.

If anything, getting that 100M contract and still playing the way he did/does, shows how great of a competitor and player he truly is. We've seen guys mail it in time after time after their contract years, but Lebron has only gotten better.

He has probably had the most pressure on him as an athlete EVER...especially in this time and age with social media. Every moment is magnified, he had to learn over time going through some tough moments but has greatly exceeded those limitless expectations. Still needs a couple more rings though

I can second this one. Many of cbs threads where we would all put together these little theories about possibly landing Lebron, and from then, ALL the way to now, CL's opinion on not wanting Lebron on the Lakers because he didn't like him, has never wavered
