Braves acquired OF Eddie Rosario and cash from the Indians for INF Pablo Sandoval.

Rosario will be sidelined for a few more weeks with an abdominal strain, but once he's healthy he'll help the Braves' playoff push. It's a salary dump trade for the Indians, as Sandoval isn't expected to play much of a role with his new club.

Twins acquired SS-OF Austin Martin and RHP Simeon Woods Richardson from the Blue Jays for RHP Jose Berrios.

This is a terrific return for the Twins. Martin was the fifth overall pick in last year's draft and really could have gone first. As a 21-year-old, he's hit .281/.424/.383 with two homers and nine steals in 250 plate appearances in Double-A this year. The Jays had him splitting time between shortstop and center field because of Bo Bichette's presence, but the Twins should put him back at short and develop him there. While third base might wind up being his best position in the end, his bat will play anywhere. He could help the Twins as soon as next May or June.

I'm sorry to see Berrios go, but he should do well with that line up.
On a personal note, I saw him pitch his first game in Cedar Rapids and met him and his parents. They are all great people.
The Twins got a very good return for him, IMO.

The Panda will be a clubhouse presence for the Indians (Guardians?).

Jeff Passan and Kiley McDaniel of ESPN report that the Brewers have acquired Daniel Norris from the Tigers.

Jason Beck of MLB.com hears that pitching prospect Reese Olson will be going to the Tigers. Norris holds a 5.89 ERA this season, but he's struck out over a batter per inning and held lefties to a .555 OPS. He will be a free agent after the season.

JA Happ to the Cardinals.

I think he's been traded at the deadline at least 3 times now.

Rockies letting Story walk for no compensation is the most Rockies thing they have done since they paid a team to take Arenado with no prospects coming back.

Andrew Heaney and his career 4.57 ERA to the Yankees.

LOL

Literally, for Junk.

Yankees have acquired LHP Andrew Heaney and cash from the Angels for minor leaguers Junk and Peguero.
