If NYR wants to give Doan $6+ per for 3 or more years, I'd rather pay Semin that.

Looks like Nash is heading to NYR

Thank God (if true). No offense to Nash, but I just don't think he's the right fit (more because of his contract) for this team. I wonder what will be headed back the other way? Dubinsky and Kreider?

My guess would be Krieder+...so either Dubinsky or Del Zotto. But that's probably giving Howson too much of the benefit of the doubt.

Anisimov is the last piece.

Not a great deal for Columbus. And sure as shit a lot worse than anything with Couture in it. His demands were laughable.

Glad Doug did not get into a bidding war over Nash.

Whew!

I heard a couple of people say it is reminiscent of the trade that brought Thornton to the Sharks. I guess it is similar but Thornton was a better player when he was traded than Nash is right now, IMO.

That could change depending on how Nash adapts to his new team.

OK, Nash is gone...so are Suter and Weber. Who should we go after now....don't tell me that we will end up with someone like.... a 42-year-old Selanne, and DW will come out and say "this is our plan for this summer!!!"
