Too high a price to pay. Glad we didn't go anywhere near that asking price. He is the best safety, but unless he turns out to be another Dawk, no thanks. Glad Dallas didn't get him.

2 firsts and a 3rd "plus" you have to pay him a load of money. It's just too much for a Safety; yes he's really good, but that's an overpay.

Keep your eyes on Michael Jacquet, La.Layfette, DB, 6-1 203. He is a terrific athlete, converted WR. I think he'll make the team, because of his athleticism, speed, interception abilities, size (especially with our lack of size at CB, except for Slay)and excellent special teamer. Wish we were going to have preseason games, so we could get a glimpse of him. I hope we don't put him on the PS, otherwise another DB hurting team could snatch him up.

While I wasn't a big fan of Roseman did in the draft back in April, but it sure sounds like his scouts have done a great job from rounds 3-7. A lot these guys look like they can play in the NFL. I'm especially high on Hightower and Watkins, plus Jacquet.
