I thought there was some issues with Hemsky this year or something I was hearing about... His attitude maybe? An injury? I cant remember??
I think that Hemsky is overpaid and not worth sacrificing depth for.
Maybe thats the issue I remember hearing bout. overpaid & under performing
If I am remembering correctly he has had a few injuries over the last couple of season as well, but I am not 100% sure about that (and I am way too lazy to look it up).
Just like the sharks GM office
It's not to hard to figure out.
1 - The Sharks have the 11th lowest average ticket price
2 - HP Pavillion is one of the smallest seating venues in the league
3 - They have one of, if not the, worst local TV deal in the league because of competition from MLB and the NBA.
Philly with a hell of a move for Weber.
What did they do??
14 year, $100+m offersheet
Shit... that's a great deal for philly. Nash would be a total idiot not to keep him. 7.1M per is a great deal.
that dream is gone...
I'd expect Nashville to accept then trade him after July 1st of next year to the highest bidder. It appears Weber wants out but if the Preds match they cannot move him for one year and Poile would be an idiot to settle for four 1st round picks for him.
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger said:I'm trying to go back to bed. More info coming in. Philly, NYR, Detroit and San Jose were big players in Weber trade scenarios
