Dions come and go (and are great players), but Danny Woodhead was one of a kind. They both were slippery and had an amazing start, stop, start gear (to be fair, Dion's was better) but Woodhead had a balance that was just off the charts. So many times he was hit and stayed on his feet. I swear the guy levitated.

Danny would run directly in the pile, disappear for a few seconds, and the reemerge on the other side of the pile still on his feet for another ten yards..

Brady at the time nicknamed him "the legend of Danny Woodhead".

Heard last night that he's actually "doubtful" against the Pats on Sunday. From what was being said, the Chargers were hopeful that the two weeks off would heal him up. Now the LA media is questioning what exactly the "hip injury" actually is.

Five common mechanisms of hip injury in football players are: (I) fracture, subluxation, and dislocation; (II) myotendinous injury; (III) athletic pubalgia; (IV) contusions; and (V) femoroacetabular impingement (FAI)

The question I heard was that they were asking if it was a "flexor', dislocation or "impingment"? They couldn't get a straight answer, so now they're all guess with their extensive medical knowledge.

Latest Boston Globe report is that on Tuesday Ekler was full speed and stayed to work out with Herbert. Wednesday he didn't appear to be hurt but didn't workout with the same intensity. Thursday, he sat out and also again on Friday. Chargers coach says that he's sore and taking a couple of days to rest should """HOPEFULLY""" allow him to play Sunday. Something doesn't sound kosher. If he plays Sunday and really screws that hip, who takes the fall? Ekler, the Coach, Team MD, trainers???

Globe says that the Chargers are serious contenders. Question: Are there any not so serious contenders? Or 4-2 Jokers?? If the Patriots win Sunday, what does that make them? Sorta serious contender after beating a serious contender? Just asking.

Maybe their plan is to ply him until he lands on his hip?
Dante? Judon? Jamie? Uche? Who gets him 1st?

"Monday Night Football" will feature the Chiefs facing the Giants. The Chiefs are once again below .500 at 3-4 and are coming off a blowout loss against the Titans. The Giants, meanwhile, just beat the Panthers by 22 points, so they could pose a tougher test for the Chiefs than most realize.

Watching the Red Zone.

Opening drives by the Dolphins and 49ers resulted in missed FGs under 40 yards.

Dolphins kicker missed his first after 43 straight.

The worst play was JC falling and giving up 41 to Allen. If he could have kept his feet, that might not have been completed.

Defense needed a series to get over Jet Lag.

So it's 7-7, Pats stop the Chargers and the Pats get their second series.

S_T_O_P throwing the ball. The Chargers cannot stop the run and the ball carriers are getting 5 yards every carry. Keep beating the shit out of the the defensive line for the first half and take their legs away. T_H_E_N start throwing the ball. By the second half you'll be up 21-7. Keep the Patriots defense OFF the field.

Hightower is terrible. That's about the fourth of fifth tackle he's totally missed this year. He's becoming a liability.

One huge play in each series has screwed this defense.

Can't give up 41 yard passes and 75 yard runs.

How about getting a Defensive Coordinator?
