"Ah! if it's your time to die, it's your time!"
Notice how they say, "If it's YOUR time to die, not MY time to die."

I meet death once. Very dark. Very quiet. Maybe I wasn't 100% dead, I don't know, but they said I was. I'm not afraid of it anymore, but I'm not looking forward to meeting it again for the last time.

If I ever move into tornado territory I would put in a septic tank (not connected to plumbing) in the yard for my "hidy-hole" as they call it.
Yes, there are a number of different tornado shelters that can be installed below or above ground.

My friend did this in his garage.

When the twister went by us a couple years ago...the sound, cacophony, the vibration of everything around you.

Fear is gone because you know, this will be the worst thing you ever experience if you are in it's path.

Iive been in Monsoons, hurricanes and blizzards. I've been in winds in excess of 100 mph. I thought those were pretty severe.

Reports say that the Tornados the other night had internal wind velocity in excess of 250 mph. I can't even imagine what those poor people must have felt or experienced. I saw a mail truck where the post office once was that was twisted up like a twist tie on a loaf of bread. That force would tear arms and legs from the body. Absolutely horrific.

Rail cars loaded with coal.
130 tons.
Lifted and slung 100 yards. And more. The cars.
Coal was many many miles from the train.

Tornadoes are incredible, and this one was a doozy, path of destruction was 16,000 feet across at points.

3 miles across, at the bottom.

I have been through 5 tornados.

Funny, when I lived in California, I would get calls from family asking if I was ok after "that earthquake" or "that fire"
When I lived in North Carolina, I would get calls asking if I was ok from that tornado.....

Only one for me and I was at work 3 miles away.
Mrs Carnzo was home and by the time she understood the warnings it hit. I still haven't tented to the three 25' "stumps" in the yard.

Ya, I get that shit all the time now that I live out here(in CA). Fires are such an everyday part of life out here that I don't really even acknowledge them until friends and family on the east coast start texting me and asking if I'm ok.

Indy is 3rd best at penalties with 62 called. Pats have been called 72 times for 7th best. This crew has a reputation!

Another well written article...

Oh, and Cheffers’ crew ranks third in the NFL in defensive pass interference penalties, fourth in offensive pass interference and first in offensive pass interference. So, get ready to see flags thrown in the secondary.

I'm sure that the DBs have been told a thousand times this week, "Don't wrap and arm around, extend and arm or worst of all, grab a handful of shirt". Problem is, that Indy's WR attend special classes that teach them to look like they've just been through a Ninja Blender on every play and how to jump more than 18" high when looking a flag.
