The Giants are coming to Foxboro Aug. 24-Aug. 26 for a mixed practice and controlled scrimmages.

Right now the game is scheduled to be on ABC or ESPN. The NFL Network may pick it up live.

HC Joe Judge is the former Patriots ST coach. The NY press believes his job is on the line this year.

UPDATE 8/25/2021

2.5 Hour Joint Practice Ends in 90 degree temps.

Mac Jones lights up the Giants

8 for 8 in 7 on 7 Drill
21 for 24 in 11 on 11 Drills

Even BB was impressed. Had the defense on the sideline when Mac threw a frozen rope pass to Meyers at the goal line who was double covered in a Red Zone scrimmage drill. BB walked away from the defense and gave Mac a high five.

Even the local media was taken aback by BB's show of approval.

NOT SO GOOD NEWS

On the play where he caught the pass Jakobi Meyers got shaken up and needed attention from the medical training staff.

Isiah Wynn and Nelson Agholor both needed help after collapsing from heat exhaustion during the session. Both were taken off the field and did not return.

If any of these players go down for a while the Pats are screwed. Especially with Henry and co still questionable

According to the local guys, practice tomorrow will not be as aggressive or close to today's full pad, thump and bump. Both coaches are wary of the heat and the injury potential.

Cam is supposed to be back tomorrow after his 5 day detention. Questions abound about whether or not he will get the first team snaps or get the start on Sunday. Very little is being said about how the team or the staff is handling this latest faux-pah. Robert and Johnathan Kraft both refused comment.

Teams have to be concerned about HIPPA violations.
What if we cut Cam and have told the world about his medical choices?

We all know that Mac was 29-32 against the Giants in their mixed practice on Wednesday.

What wasn't known until late last night is that AWS was tracking the practice to create new data images for the NFL. Some of the data was released and Mc Jones threw 175 passes during practice yesterday. Average distance of the passes was 14 yards. The longest was 68 and the shortest was -3. That's distance forward from his hand not yards gained.

Apparently there will be software that will track how much work every player completes in a practice within the next few years. Tracking the QB throws and distance might also be a way to prevent potential shoulder, elbow and arm injuries.

I was shocked that he threw 175 passes during a 2.5 hour practice. It may not seem like much but he threw 1.16 passes every minute. If the average was 14 yards, that's 2450 yards of forward passes. That's a half season in the real world.

Amazon Wireless Services.

They're the stats company that compiles all of the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL stats.

I have a nephew that just started work for them. They recruited him last May when he graduated from URI at the top of his EE (Electrical Engineering) class. Not bad to get a $3000 a week jobs right out of school.

The ratio of college kids at $3k vs $min is the inverse of HS kids at $3k vs $min
Unfortunately it's not, but certainly a lot higher.

Let's face it, nobody NEEDS to make that kind of money. I just wish there were more balanced opportunities for anyone willing to work hard to make a decent wage.

Lots of kids getting that kind of money right out of college, many more getting minimum wage though.
Electrical Engineers are averaging #110K now. out of college. There is a wide range because of demand.
If you really need a good one, top of the class kind of guy?????

My key expression there is "more balanced" and not perfectly balanced... and I was more referring to hard working service providers who had no direction into a trade or college and now need to provide and can't take time off to pursue those anymore. And I don't mean $3000 per week, Just more than minimum wage so they can could afford safe housing.
