Judge and Stanton are redundant. You don’t need them both and Stanton isn’t going anywhere.
That's crazy. When Judge is right (which isn't often admittedly) his only flaw as a player is he Ks too much. Stanton can hit the ball 120 mph (when he hits it). That's about all he does well.

Well, that’s just it. Judge is hurt all the time. He’s declined 4 years in a row in every meaningful category. He’s hit over 30HR and over 100RBI exactly once in his career. And he’s almost 30. He’s fool’s gold.

Wow. I am shocked. Dodgers not taking their foot off the gas for a moment.

Padres building something strong, they must be paying attention

and if you really think about it, outside of Buehler, a declining Kershaw and a few question marks

Kershaw is only declining in the postseason. His regular season performance is just as strong as ever. He was untouchable last year. His demise has been greatly exaggerated.

As for the others? I like Urias. He looks legit. Gonsolin and May also very promising. The Dodgers just seem to have a factory where they churn out all this talent. It’s ridiculous.

P.S. Not sure if he’s going to pitch this year, but they still have David Price, too. Not sure who else can match this depth.

too bad Caleb Ferguson's out for most of the year, though he's probably more of a bullpen piece at this point.

Jeez. Forgot about him. I’m sure the Dodgers have 2-3 kids in the minors who can help soon, too. It amazes me how they do it. They had the prospects to trade for Machado, Darvish and Betts and STILL can churn out Bellinger, Seager, Buehler, May, Gonsolin, Urias etc...... Remarkable.

Reminds me of the time Cashman went a decade where the best player his system produced was Brett Gardner.

Can Ozuna stay in left? This move makes a lot of sense if there is a DH in the NL. Not so much if there isn't.

Cubs signed OF Joc Pederson to a one-year, $7 million contract.

The 28-year-old will earn $4.5 million in 2021 and the deal also includes a $10 million option for the 2022 season with a $2.5 million buyout. Pederson is expected to get a chance to play everyday in the Cubs outfield, where he should take kindly to the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. He hit just .190/.285/.397 with seven homers and 16 RBI in 138 plate appearances with the Dodgers during the 2020 season.

That’s why it surprises me

my guess is even with no DH this season, the Braves may be banking on it happening during the contract

I think that's it. They gamble on him in the field for one season and hecDHs the other 3.
