NFL Power Rankings: Preseason edition

So their first batch of power rankings are out.

Seem pretty standard. You could scramble around the Top 4 in any particular order and I think it would be just as reasonable.

I think Denver at No. 8 seems about right.

I would probably move down the Raiders a few spots. And move up the Rams and Eagles some.

"The Ravens won five games in 2007 and followed that with an 11-5 season. The Ravens won six games in 2005 and followed that with a 13-3 season. The Ravens don't stay down for long, so expect a big bounce back following their 5-11 2015 season."

11-5 seems about right to me.

I have an admitted bias but I don't see Seattle as #1.

This year is weird... I really don't see any #1 team.

Brady is getting older and is suspended.
Manning is gone and Sanchez cannot be trusted.
Seattle's O-Line is a complete unknown and some holes on D now.


I KIND of feel like Cards should be #1. They have a great D and I trust their offense more than Seattle IF Palmer stays up. But as of now he's healthy so I think they'd get my nod.

I dunno about the Panthers. I can't stand Cam Newton (arrogant, crybaby douche) so I don't want to rank them #1 lol.

I think the Bengals fall back a little this year. They lost a couple of receivers, and I do think the loss of Hue Jackson is a big one. Not saying I think they'll be terrible or anything, but about 9-7 and a fringe playoff team feels right to me.

I also think people continue to overrate the Steelers. That offense has a lot of talent, but the defense is suspect, they're missing Bryant for the season and Bell for a few games, and I don't trust Roethlisberger to stay healthy.

1) Arizona
2) Green Bay
3) Carolina
4) New England
5) Cincinnati
6) Seattle
7) Kansas City
8) Minnesota
9) Pittsburgh
10) Denver

I also think the Lions are way, way too low. They were 6-2 over their last 8 games last season, and it would have been 7-1 if not for Rodgers' hail mary. And look at their first 7 games: at Colts, Titans, at Packers, at Bears, Eagles, Rams, Redskins. I think a 5-2 start is possible for them.

It looks about right with the NFC dominating the top. You could probably interchange the top 5 in any order & not be wrong.
