If you're a follower of DVOA, the three biggest changes in trends recently is that the Niners and Bengals are notably better on offense than earlier in the season and the Bucs are notably worse on defense than earlier in the season.

The Eagles are more banged up than the other top 6 teams right now IIRC. They're in the top 6 for sure but I think the Bengals have earned the top spot.

Jalen Hurts is back and the Eagles are BY FAR the best team in the league with him. They are at #1 right where they should be.

It doesn’t matter anyway. I learned today that the Eagles are one and done in the playoffs. I’m not sure why they’d even bother to take the field. The Niners have Brock Purdy and a front office full of geniuses that have never won anything.

Browns was a simple error. I'd probably place them around 15 ahead of Baltimore. But it doesn't matter, just an irrelevant zone in this season filled with bad teams.

Ok, now for my weekly gripe about the Lions position... someone explain to me how the Jags are ahead of the Lions given they have the same record and the Lions beat them by 4 TDs a month ago.

Eagles (1) lose to NO (24), and they stay on top and NO picks up 1. Very exclusive indeed.

It was still silly logic to keep a team that lost at number 1 while moving the team that beat them up one spot to... 24! Especially just on the projection of the week ahead (with Hurts returning) and not that weeks play.

But really, I guess logic defies most power rankings anyway. Beyond this thread, I can't even think of the last time I looked for any.
