Overall solid list - could quibble here or there, but that's true of any list.

Only big nitpick I would make is - Tua and LJ - injuries this year have to be (IMO) a part of the ranking, and missing the time they did - and the unknown of going forward, I'd likely drop both of them a bit....but again - quibbles with any list - and if you are not taking that into consideration - solid overall.

I just don't see what Herbert has done to put him over Hurts. Also wouldn't put Dak over Brady.

He went 1-5 vs playoff teams. Just be patient. One of these years all of the hype and fawning over Herbert will actually result in the Chargers doing something.

I think the rankings on this are tight enough that Im going to wait on the playoffs before judging this. I think Burrow and Josh Allen are close enough that they could flip flop. Trevor Lawrence could raise his stock. Purdy could drop.

Seems to me Kenny Pickett and Kyler Murray should be trading spots.

Herbert - too high
Jones - too high
Carr - too high. Shouldn't be above Geno
^Geno - too low

Really shows there are really only a handful of QB's now that are in that elite to great category. Rodgers and Brady had their worst year in some time. After that it's kinda meh. It's likely that the last 4 teams remaining are top 5-7 on this list. KC, BUF or CIN and then PHI and whoever.

Burrow is #1 and Justin Fields is at least 10 spots too low. Other than that, no complaints.

Brady around 8 seems fine from what Ive seen. Rodgers legitimately looked like someone playing injured. His season was closer to middle of the pack than top tier imo. His yards per game was way down.

I agree. At the beginning of the year, it felt like there were probably 9 or 10 guys that you could consider elite - Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Jackson, Brady, Rogers, Watson, and Wilson. With a few other guys that had promise or potential to be close - Hurts, Lawrence, Tua, etc..... But now I think the list of truly elite quarterbacks is probably closer to 5.

Eli Manning shits on all of these dudes. Pretty much tells you the state of the competition.

I don't think he is. At the beginning of the year he was considered elite by most folks based on his prior performance. There was a reason that 4 different teams were all interested in giving him the most ever guaranteed money for a QB.

Yeah, i'm not ready to claim Purdy as the #7 overall QB in the NFL...

I don't have any issue with Geno at #17... Heinicke at #20 though? I have a hard time putting a guy that high who had been benched in favor of a #3 guy on the depth chart... He's not better than R. Wilson, M Jones, D. Watson and K. Murray imo...

No Tebow or potato salad on list, how can it be taken seriously?

But if it was a serious list i would move Hurts up, swap " You like this" with Rodgers and Goff with Purdy, kid looked good but only half a season

I'd probably have Geno around 17 if its based on where I see him moving forward. Heinicke closer to 27-30. I would put Dalton above him, for example. Dalton is still a decent game manager.
