Im a pff subscriber and fan. But their qb ranks are often baffling for about 10-15 guys yearly.
I thought it was a decent list. I wouldn't have been so hard on Mahomes, Jackson, Carr, and Wilson, but it is what it is.

I personally dont think ben was the leagues worst qb. Think goff is too low. Tanny, mac jones, jimmy g, taysom hill all too high imho. Its not their worst list

I'd agree with that as well. It's what happens when you create a list by metrics. It's basically a solid list - that no-one agrees with. lol.

Mahomes: 5,896 pass yards, 48 pass TDs, 16 Ints, 498 Rush Yards, 3 Rush TDs, 10 Fumbles, 2-1 in the playoffs
Kyler: 3,924 pass yards, 24 pass TDs, 12 Ints, 429 Rush Yards, 5 Rush TDs, 13 Fumbles, 0-1 in the playoffs

And they're ranked next to each other? smh

Just because they are "next to each other" doesn't mean they are very close. It's not like you can leave a spot blank and go from #7 to #10 because you think no one is close to #7.

I think both are probably right about where they should be. You can squabble over a spot or two, but it looks about right IMO

don't look at Pro Football Focus's top 100 for 2021...you won't like where Mahomes is ranked with that opinion

I think people are much tougher on Mahomes than the other QBs. But yeah, I could see him ranked around #5 last year at worst so it's not the dumbest ranking ever. But it is dumb. If a receiver makes a catch in OT we aren't even having this conversation. But if the Chiefs kick a FG at the end of the half we also aren't here, either.

Pffs rankings are silly, too, considering how much they talk up the Chiefs

Just to put my frustration into perspective, the Chiefs lost twice to the Bengals when they scored 31 and 24 points respectively. Rams won the Super Bowl scoring 23 points.

Very strange to rank Mahomes anything but 1-3.

He has pretty much been perpetually top 3 QB since he's been in the league. Getting the Lebron treatment.

He also took some really bad (and dumb sacks) and was horrible in the 2nd half.

Ok? He had a terrible half because the Bengals dropped everyone into coverage and they had a top 5 defense. Top 10 at worst.

Mahomes has never had a top 10 defense and people think that because he has Hill and Kelce that he needs to win the SB every year.

People like PFF grade big time throws and believe it or not defenses now play the Chiefs to take them away. I believe they still spent most of last year #1 in the league in drive efficiency.

I get having Brady above him. He is a worthy #1. Josh Allen certainly passes the eyeball test even though he went 0-6 in close games last year. #7 overall is trolling.

I don’t know why y’all are squabbling about some nobodies ranking Mahomes 7th. He’s #1 where it matters. Right here in the OP of this thread.

Its the offseason. I'd imagine its pretty common throughout NFL history whenever Elway or Marino or Manning or Brees struggled in the playoffs that they'd get some flak.

I usually dont get locked into the NFL draft process until the combine. Thats where thing get interesting as you match numbers, hype and interviews with college film.

We’ll see who’s starting in Pittsburgh next season. If I had to rank Ben, I’d probably put him just after Matt Ryan, just outside the top 20. But I’m assuming he’s retiring now.
Are you ranking them on their advertising or their cooking skills?
