Yep... Philly, to Rams, to KC, to Philly... now off, yet again, to somewhere else.

Haha

Just bc he’s played for a number of different teams doesn’t make him a journeyman dipshit.

So ARod was a “journeyman” baseball player bc he played for 3 different teams? Dennis Eckersly was a journeyman bc he played for 6 different teams?

You’re pathetic.

Actually that’s what I said and got absolutely crucified for saying that.
I never said anything otherwise.
Big thing what you got crucified for is insisting Wentz is cx a Super Star with only a few games under his belt and not ONE playoff game in there.

In b4 PE 1 tells us Foles likes the band Journey.

Thus he's a Journey fan not journey man. Damn auto correct.

Yup, clearly doesn’t know what the term “journeyman” means.

He literally said Foles is a “journeyman” and he’s the “hottest QB available in FA or the draft”.

:L

He literally can’t keep his own BS straight.

I feel the same. Just the other day someone was trying to get my attention and they said "Yo Man".

meh. It means nothing. It costs nothing to pick up the option at this point, (so technically the Eagles would be stupid not to). The 'new' 1 year deal doesn't become guaranteed until 5 days after the new NFL year starts and free agency begins. If the Eagles don't have a trade lined up or an extension sorted out and it looks like they could end up with both QBs they could still cut Foles before then without cost. Personally I don't think Foles is worth $20M so I don't see any team trading for him, especially on a 1 year deal with no future options. I think he's worth more to the Eagles than he is to anyone else. I'm willing to concede that a trade is possible, but realistically the Eagles are likely to get more for him through the compensatory pick formula in 2020 than they will through a direct trade in 2019.

Earlier projections had the Eagles well over the cap for 2019. Making moves that put them under the cap was never going to be a serious problem, and they've already taken steps to lower their 2019 cap figure. However, most people had Foles leaving as part of the Eagles cost-cutting exercise. Making extra moves to get $20M under the cap so they can afford Foles, at least for the March 13 date, is going to hurt. If the Eagles want to sign FAs early in the free agency period they'll need even more cap room.

Keeping both QBs at $25M(ish) total is doable. The Cowboys could have kept both Romo or Prescott for $17M(ish) some time again, (Romo willing), and it wouldn't have bothered them too much which QB played and which was the back-up. Obviously $25M is a bigger chunk of the cap and having a high priced guy doing nothing on the sidelines is never a good look. The bigger problem is that Wentz is likely going to want an extension in 2019, and he's going to want considerably more than $20M. The Eagles can't stretch the cap far enough to pay them both.

If Foles pays the $2M get-out clause then the Eagles will save $2M. If he doesn't well they could cut him before the new year with no harm done. That's my guess as to what happens. meh.

It they keep Foles some big cuts would have to happen, although they could cut Foles for less then a 3 million $ hit. I think Foles is the more likely to get traded.
Wrong.

There's tons of cap room. We just made 6 million that no one was even talking about from Rodney mcleod. There's lots more where that came from.

I think it's 20M guaranteed if both team and he except the option.
If that is the case then there is certainly a huge possible downside for Philly to doing this. It's not like $20M is a bargain for Foles. He is still Nick Foles. The risk likely pays off, but if it doesn't...
