They got to trade one of their QBs. It’s looking like Wentz is the best bet.
Good point. It they keep Foles some big cuts would have to happen, although they could cut Foles for less then a 3 million $ hit. I think Foles is the more likely to get traded.
Silly move, I can see why they'd do it, but I hope it bites them in the ASS.
the fuck it will. Joe Banner predicted the most likely option is the eagles pick up the option just to see if they can do something, but then figure Nick will opt out. let's stop trying to make this a thing.
I think that is their plan. trade him and try to get draft pick(s).It they keep Foles some big cuts would have to happen, although they could cut Foles for less then a 3 million $ hit. I think Foles is the more likely to get traded.
yeah, I can see that and maybe a 3rd rounder the following year or something. Jags have to free up some money though, don't they?Step 1 to getting the Jags' 2nd round pick.
Bortles, Malik Jackson and a couple others will be on the market.yeah, I can see that and maybe a 3rd rounder the following year or something. Jags have to free up some money though, don't they?
Taking the risk for. A Third round pickWhat the Eagles have is very interesting.
The lesser market value QB is an uninjured and known Champion caliber player.
The higher market value QB is an injured and it's unknown if he is a Champion caliber player.
.
That's IF a team trades for him. I wouldn't trade for him given he had failed more than he succeeded over his career.I don't think so. No matter where you slot Nick Foles in your list of QB's, I think given what he's done for the Eagles, $20 mil is a fair settlement. At least now, they have all the cards and can see whom out there will pay out the biggest deal for him (or Wentz) to pry him away from Phil.
Or if Wentz goes down again, at least they can turn the car over to NF and roll with it.
