Care to wager?
I'll take Foles opts out.
If he's traded it's a push.
If he stays in Philly you win.
Avi for a month?

How would it bite them in the ass? Not saying you are wrong just curious about what you mean.
This is probably all for nothing cause I’m sure Foles will pay the 2 million to opt out.
If Foles doesn't opt out and teams back off from trading for him it will bite the Eagles in the ass.

It's not hard to understand if you pay any attention to the cap situation.

I thought it wasn't $20M guaranteed? Can't they cut him if they wanted even after picking up the option and still cut him for just a couple of million?

I think it's 20M guaranteed if both team and he except the option.

First you need to look up the definition of moving the goal posts because you don't have a clue.
Second it's not a new catch phrase. You just hear it hourly because you move the goal posts that often if not more.

Finally, I'll type real slow because I don't have crayons to help you.
Everything is hypothetical.
Eagles already over the cap.
If Nicky wants to screw the organization he signs that $20M deal.
OK no stupid diatribe or goal post moving. In the situation I just laid out what is the Eagles next move?

Trade him. That was really hard bro. I was vexed for hours trying to figure out what Philly does if he signs the deal.

Yes but they supposably dumped a $7M contract so they are good:doh:
But wait there's more. He has still never addressed when are they going to sign their AMVP non-Playoff exp QB? They going to let him hit FA the end of the year:dhd:

He not a FA at the end of the year. Sorry

That is true but no team trading for him is tremendously unlikely. He’s currently the hottest available QB in FA or the draft with several teams needing a QB.

Again you're making a lot of assumptions. Who's going to pick up the $20M guarentee? Or is Philly going to eat all or part of it.
You'll get to the answer eventually. But I don't have that amount of time left in my life.
Philly will need to cut more players and likely trade away a handful of picks in order to fit under the cap. The point is/was Rosie screwed up your cap.

Class is dismissed.

Foles isn't opting out of 20 million.....LOL.

He'll expect them to trade him. He knows it's a business.

He will opt out cause he will get 100,000,000 if he does.

I’m making one assumption. They will trade him because he’s currently the best QB that’s available.
We will trade him and won’t have to cut anyone or trade away any picks. I’m not getting you? 20 million isn’t much for a starting QB these days. That contract won’t dissuade any team.
You’re gonna die in the next 6 weeks?

So is he opting out or getting traded:scratch:
Please stop this for your own sake.
Besides this is a football board. Watching you go back and forth one would think it's a tennis message board.

I’m not going back and forth. I’m guessing he opts out. If he doesn’t we will trade him. I’m not going back and forth I’m discussing the different scenarios that could happen.

From where?
Aside from saving Wentz's ass twice what else has he done? He has enough failure in his career to cause some caution.

Time will tell but he will get paid by someone

You apparently have all the answers to the test.
Unfortunately the teacher is using a different version of the test.

Huh, you told me he was a journeyman QB.

Actually that’s what I said and got absolutely crucified for saying that.
