If he slips to 21 this is an easy pick. Can't see it though. CBs are too valuable.

I just pray we don't go with Fulton. Dude doesn't turn his head around and find the football in the air. That shit makes me sick.
I think the Cowboys pick is the area where he may go. My gut tells me that the Boys will take Ruiz. They like building that OL. I just don't see them drafting defense unless it's a pass rusher. I think Howie may need to trade up, but not too far to get Henderson.

There's been recent talk that 30-40% of GM's actually have CJ Henderson over Jeff Okudah. While I don't see Henderson going prior to Okudah on draft day, I think the latest Henderson falls is to Atlanta or Dallas at 16/17. I like a few other Corners in this draft, but none I would take at 21 aside from these two. I can even see Dallas trying to leapfrog Atlanta for him.

I like him, but certainly not above Okudah.

If Henderson is there, I think Dallas jumps all over him, to replace Byron Jones. If not, then Ruiz.

Howie is going to earn his keep this draft...Maybe this is the case every draft but if you look at this year's draft top 50 prospects (courtesy Gil Brandt) here is the way he lays out the listing around 21.

16. Ruggs-WR
17. Chiasson-Edge
18. Queen-LB
19. A Jackson-OT
20. K Murray-LB
21- J Love-QB
22. R Blacklock-OT
23. E Cleveland-OT
24. J Taylor-RB
25. G Delpit-S
26. Matos-DE
27. Diggs-CB
28. Terrel-CB
29. Jones-OT
30. Aiyuk-WR
31. Jefferson-WR

The obvious questions are BPA, trade down for someone who wants J Love, take Aiyuk or Jefferson. Or do you ask for a high 2 and high 3 for a trade up from another team to grab one of the remaining OT's?

32. McKinney- S, 33. Z Braun-LB, 34. Hennessey-OL, 35. Wilson-DT, 36. Davidson-Edge, 37. Swift-RB, 38. Dobbins-RB, 39. Okwegbaun- TE, 40. Espenesa-DE, 41. Gallimore-DE, 42. Reagor-WR, 43 Brooks-LB, 44. Bowden-WR, 45. Higgins, 46. Higgins-WR, 47. Ruiz-C, 48. Elliot-DE, 49 Mims-WR, 50 Mabdibuike-DT, 51. Davis-S, 52. Fromm-QB, 53. Hurts-QB, 54. Kmet-TE, 55. Hellaire-RB, 56. Winfield-S, 57. Anae-Edge, 58. Hammler-WR, 59. Claypool-WR, 60. Johnson-CB, 61. Shenault-WR, 62. Gladney-CB, 63. Wilson-LB, 64. Fulton-CB, 65. Arnette-CB, 66. Chin-S, 67. Eason-QB, 68. Lynch-DE, 69. Edwards-WR, 70. Coulter-WR, 71. Strowbridge-DE, 72. Dugger-S, 72. Niag-OL, 73. Peart-OT.

I listed the rest of Gil's listing of the top prospects through 73. While this would not be any team's top 150 it is representative of what Howie has to choose around.

I will do a trade-up scenario at a later date.

If the choice is Jefferson versus a Reagor and Chin or Arnette I might be tempted to make the trade down?

If Howie doesn't trade up, at this point I have a hard decision to make:

C.J. Henderson - or Kenneth Murray. I love Murray to death, but Henderson makes more sense.

Thoughts?

I like the Harris, Gibson and Warren picks. Good value at those locations. I think Harris can fit in at C in a couple years. Warren will see the field by October/November. Gibson is a stash for December or next year?

I think Henderson would be a Howie pick for sure.

I'm a Kenneth Murray guy 100% if not WR in Rd 1. I know we don't take LB in Rd 1, but LB with great speed and ability to blitz would be the perfect fit on that D. We are at the bottom of the league food chain at the LB position. This kid would be a monster behind our DL.

My thinking today is.....Howie didn't sign any WR free agents, so he has to trade up to get one of the 3 amigos (as I call them). I think he had his mind made up when he didn't sign a WR. I think he had in mind that if the cost was too high, then at least he could always get Jefferson. Now, some think Jefferson goes a few slots before 21. He's going to look pretty bad, even to Jeff Lurie, if he doesn't get a star caliber receiver after passing up some solid WR's last month. I'm almost read to say - "book it" that he moves up, maybe even as high as 9 or 10.

27 million in cap space. 3rd most in the league.

And he doesn't add any fucking free agent WRs.

I'm worried you have pegged his plan and I fucking hate it.
