I'd trade a 2 and another 2 next year. But only if we don't think we can get one of the top 3 in the draft. This way, we can draft the BPA in round 1, and another WR in round 3.

Hopkins' contract is actually quite reasonable when you consider Amari Cooper is about to get close to if not over 20 mil per year. Hop is only going to count for 12.5 mil against Arizona's Cap. David Johnson looked like a shell of his old self last year ... no clue why Houston would do that deal ... Does DHop have something wrong with him that only teams know about?

I can't figure out why Howie wouldn't have tried, especially with his weak track record of drafting, This could have let us draft the BPA in the 1st. Grrrrrrr...........

And now, Kwiatkowski is signing with the Raiders. I guess Howie's waiting for Littleton. I hope that he doesn't screw up free agency!!

Only an idiot would suggest trading Sanders.
Howie may have something up his sleeve but until I see it I am skeptical.
So long Big V and good luck.

Welp - The dolphins are signing Byron Jones. I guess Howie wants to get quantity v.s quality. Jones would have used up about 1/3 of cap room. Also Bradberry is gone too. Hope Howie3 has a plan.
Eagles won’t be signing Byron Jones or James Bradberry

Maybe Logan Ryan and Chris Harris? As long as improve the talent at CB, and draft 1 or 2 top CB prospects, we should be good.

Hargrave is great and all ... Signed him to a good deal "but" who is again is going to cover receivers on the boarders? Maybe we have a trade lined up for Slay ...

Obviously I know Hargraves name. So that’s good. But I just think 3-4 only when I see NT (unless ESPN was being obtuse in putting those letters next to his name). DT help is always good. But that’s a whole lotta damn hell money on DT. Unless they aren’t sure how well Malik is coming back?

Aside from the sticker shock of 3 yrs with $26M guaranteed I do like the idea of lots of good rotation there.

Im a bit pissed about CB. But there is still improvements out there. Not pissed about Hopkins. Would love to have had him, but not pissed.

What about a guy like Trufant formerly of the Falcons? He’s not too old, can run and cover. We need somebody jeez.

Between Hargrave, Cox and Jackson ... we're paying 40 mil this season at just the DT position. Hargrave is an excellent DT and having just turned 27 in February still has his prime to look forward to, so I can't knock the signing ... I'm just sitting here trying to figure out their plan at Corner? Slay is the one legit guy possibly available, but we'd have to trade at least a 2nd round pick for him "and" pay him top dollar on a new deal. The rest of the options are all slot Corners or our garbage free agents from last year.

The shortest way to the ball is up the middle.

Malik got hurt last year and fucked it all up. Double down. Worst thing that happens is you have too many DTs! which is impossible!

Our DL just got stronger without a doubt ... but as of the moment we have nothing at LB or outside Corner. I'm just curious in finding out the rest of the plan ...

I think Slay has had better years, and they are behind him. I'd rather get Logan Ryan, and another young Cb. Then draft 2 more + a safety. We'd better be looking at Perriman, and then get 2 more in the draft. I also want Quinn from Dallas.

Logan Ryan would be a bust signing - if we're signing him to play outside... he's a slot guy and we need outside cover guys. I still like Strap a lot to man the slot... Trufant is available and IMO is the best option without having to trade for someone and give up draft capital. The only issue with him is durability but graded out really well in 9 games played last year and played his best ball when Manuel was his position coach (Pro Bowler in '15).

Xavier Rhodes had a bad season last year but still made the Pro Bowl... I'd take a look at him too, I still think he's got some juice left. Better than the band of nobodys we trotted out there last year, even if he's lost a step.

Also not a fan of Waynes either. For a guy with his physical tools he gets burned way too often for my liking.
