I am not saying Lamb is a bad player. He clearly gets a ton of targets, and has a lot of stats. But I think they thought they could get rid of Cooper and the offense would not suffer big consequences, and it turned out their passing game is now a lot less dynamic.

I’m psyched if the Cowboys have CeeDee as the defacto best WR on their squad going forward. I also think you have a flawed vision of just how much man actually still gets played in the league because you watch so much Vikings football and your DC refuses to play any man. CeeDee feasts on safeties and LBs. Good for him. Not a true number 1 and not a top 10 WR for me. I’m glad to see you have backed off that top 5 nonsense.

Week 8 Man and Zone Rates: Rams' unwillingness to adapt has been detrimental | NFL News, Rankings and Statistics | PFF

Some teams’ man and zone rates will vary by opponent, while some will stay steady throughout the season. So far, the league as a whole ran man coverage 29.4% of the time, therefore running zone on 70.6% of plays. From 2019-2021, the average man coverage percent was 33.9%, so the league is running about 4.5% more zone coverage this season.

He’s not top 5. Who are you taking out:
Jefferson Hill Brown Adams and Diggs. Is he top 5 because Kupp and Chase got hurt?
He would be the #3 on Seattle.

You'd like him if you watched him. Probably the most underrated WR in the game.
Agree with you on most underrated in the league. Still not a top 15 guy.

Cee Dee Lamb had a great season despite playing with Cooper Rush for 5 games and having an overrated Dak throwing to him... I could only imagine how good he'd be if he had a good, consistent QB throwing him the ball in Dallas...

Who do you consider good, consistent QB?

Let's get this thread focused back on Dak.

Is this what you meant @ducky ?

"Dak threw 15 INTs despite throwing to future hall of famer CeeDee Lamb"--Ducky

You’re giving a guy bonus points for having a top 10-12 QB? Even the biggest Dak haters would slot him there.

Is he a top 10-12 though? 15 INT's in 10 games? I've never viewed Dak in that category... I've always thought of him as being vastly overrated...

Oh, I don’t know we were throwing a guy’s whole career in the trash can and just focused on a single year.

Dak was certainly not 10-12 this season. He had 23 TDs and 15 INTs. I guess the big question is how much of the Cowboys' issues were due to Dak versus the struggles on the offensive line and at wideout trying to find a consistent producer besides Lamb.
