I am not saying Lamb is a bad player. He clearly gets a ton of targets, and has a lot of stats. But I think they thought they could get rid of Cooper and the offense would not suffer big consequences, and it turned out their passing game is now a lot less dynamic.

I’m psyched if the Cowboys have CeeDee as the defacto best WR on their squad going forward. I also think you have a flawed vision of just how much man actually still gets played in the league because you watch so much Vikings football and your DC refuses to play any man. Oh, I don’t know we were throwing a guy’s whole career in the trash can and just focused on a single year.

Dak was certainly not 10-12 this season. He had 23 TDs and 15 INTs. I guess the big question is how much of the Cowboys' issues were due to Dak versus the struggles on the offensive line and at wideout trying to find a consistent producer besides Lamb.
