watching Rawls run I do find myself wondering if Lynch is the problem and not so much the o-line. Not saying the o-line is good or anything but maybe, just maybe, having a fresh runner makes the difference...

This year Lynch and the o-line have looked bad, but Rawls does seem to be able to get more on the ground so far. That said, this is the Bears defense, but if Lynch is banged up at all next week I'd like to see what Rawls can do. I was kind of hoping they'd give Rawls a chance on fourth down there actually.

I think his back is just completely messed up right now. If Rawls can do the job then we should keep going to him. I think there's more of an element of surprise with Rawls as well with the read option. Everyone figures that he's just handing it to Lynch when we run out of that formation, probably because that's the case 90+% of the time.

This is the area where Bevell starts making me scratch my head... Right now we should be running the clock out and deflating the game ... But were throwing on pretty much every down ... lol .. Obviously Pete's ok with it, but I'd rather not see bootlegs and Wilson running around when Rawls has been electric ...

yep, that definitely has to be taken into consideration and the only thing holding me back from being too excited about Rawls.

Ball was late on that throw because someone was in Wilson's face. He was looking that way and if that's out in time then it's an easy 6. This is what I was envisioning when we got him and Graham with Graham attacking the seam and Lockett stretching the defense.
