yeah ill give san diego the win they earned every bit of it but to control that much of the game and only be up by 6 points in the final drive says a lot about our team. they got away with a lot of 3rd down conversions which kept drives alive they never really shot for big plays down the field just move the ball 8 yards at a time low risk type. Im glad that we lost to be honest to many games like the green bay game will shoot the teams ego way to high and think we are invincible this loss should be humbling. lastly we lost against a non conference opponent this is no big deal

Just got back from the game. Fun game, but disappointing, obviously. No pressure on Rivers and like boogie said, he threw dimes to Gates. No one could cover that guy. Our Offensive game plan was a bit disconcerting. Maybe they felt throwing it was the way to go, and I don't know the numbers off hand, but felt like we should have run the ball more. Lynch certainly seemed unhappy on that last attempt at a drive.

The play calling was ok on our scoring drives, but on the other drives they brought tons of pressure and bevell did nothing to make them pay for it. The screens and dumpoffs were working, so obviously the thing to do it is stop using them and run a fly sweep when the D is not on their heels.

Just have your QB get a 120 passer rating. Seahawks chronically bad pass D allows that every game so we've been "exposed". There is the blue print for the Broncos this week.

Can't agree, the offense should have managed more than 3 sustained drives against that San Diego defense.

Completely agree on this point.

The Chargers may have beat us no matter what. But playing in such extreme heat makes the game a little unique. I felt both of our lines were simply unequipped to play yesterday.

Rivers was simply amazing though. Full credit to him.

Man they were saying it was 120 on the field... That's not healthy football weather that's hot Yoga weather... Chargers need a climatized stadium ... Cold weather is beautiful compared to hot weather when it comes to football... That kinda heat is dangerous...

Plus the visitors there always have the hotter side of the field,,,in the end the Chargers came to play on another level and that is what happens when you are the SB champs teams step it up.

Rivers and gates had their best games in a long time, if manning does that next week then i will start to worry.

The big thing is, its a road game against an afc team, if you are going to lose a game thats the game to lose. The niners lost at home to an nfc opponent, and one that may not be all that good to begin with.

I disagree screamin. The D got the offense the ball two times in the fourth down by four. and the offense pittled down their legs both times. "Its not how you start its how you finish" Well the offense finished poorly.........

It was a really overwhelming heat too. I've gone to college games where it was 100+, but never anything like that. It just continually beat on us.

Yeah, the offense didn't finish the 4th well, but at best they were out of rhythm.
