Apparently they will introduce an E1 version of Powergirl next season on Flash. I am not sure if they plan on using Benoist or not. I would guess that they would get an older actress to play her, and the story will be that she was not diverted to the Phantom Zone and has been very DL the whole time.

However, going with an older PG would not fit the demographic, but Benoist would cost too much.

I would love to see Benoist in the boob-window outfit, though.

Power girl doesn't necessarily mean Kara-El... nor does it necessarily mean krypton...

The stuff I have seen stated it would be, but I am not aware of the different versions, so maybe I inserted that myself with assumptions.

I mean she is the MAIN power girl... There has been other versions... The interesting thing about power girl, is although the origin of her and super girl are pretty much identical, power girl has a different secret identity, a totally non SUPER uniform... I do wonder how they will do it..

It's really just cause of a similar demographic and lightness to the stories.

It's kinda weird that there's no Superman in the Arrowverse (which Flash is a part of).

Does that make Super Girl part of the Smallvilleverse?

I heard a rumor they just put in "The Flash" because they wanted to help The CW network out

I'm not so sure about that. CBS has had some pretty raunchy shows over the years, some with even early 8 PM EST/7 Pm CST time slots. BUT that level of raunchy would probably have to be on a Premium channel such as HBO. Too bad!!!

Yeah I suppose but I would believe FOX would show more than CBS

Last nights episode somewhat baffled me... Super Man was a "drone" because he has "more of" human brain, compared to Super Girl because he's lived in "this world longer" but hasn't Super Girl?

Found this excerpt from Wikipedia thought it was hilarious...

"According to character writer Jimmy Palmiotti, "Okay. When the character was created, Wally Wood was the artist that drew Power Girl, and he was convinced that the editors were not paying attention to anything he did. So, his inker said every issue I’m going to draw the tits bigger until they notice it. It took about seven or eight issues before anyone was like hey, what’s with the tits? And that’s where they stopped. True story."[69]"

Also, SG is totally geared towards the young female demographic. Making SG wearing a revealing outfit doesnt fit the "You Go Girl" message of the show.

Nope.

She was SUPPOSED to get to Earth first, but she got diverted to the PZ. By the time she got out of the PZ and arrived on Earth, Kal had already grown up and become Supes.

Yeah I know that. Just thinking she was there for a while as well. Obviously not as long as Kal but still

They could improve the show and spike ratings if they made her skirt shorter. And no underwear.

This is on CBS.... Not FOX, won't happen

There's a few Supergirl/Melissa Benoist hardcore sex images out on the inter-webs for folks to take a gander at. One can easily find them.

Neither of them have a human brain. So it's a terrible flaw in the story.

Yeah...

Viewing this show expecting little-to-no plot holes is truly a fools errand.

Has there been a worse Network-level CB TV show in the last 30 years or so?

Fox's Flash was not horrible, IIRC.
L&C was solid.
Smallville was VERY solid.
SHIELD is great.
Agent Carter is OK.
Netflix shows are great.
Arrowverse is mostly good (except LoT, which is truly crap)

What am I forgetting?

BoP? Don't remember that one.

Hulk was in the 70s, so a little outside the time scope I arbitrarily assigned (30 years). I think there were some CA movies, but I don't think there was a show.

What about the Cape? It wasn't a real CB but it was a super hero show. Based like a comic book.
