Nothing but respect Seattle... Really good team you have...

This series is far from over..

Seattle will be electric when the series moves to your house.
Would like to see them win a game and get to play both games at home, but I'm expecting a sweep.

People think that was a great team because we had some great players on it but as a 'Team' we had a ton of holes. Pen was put together with paperclips and rubber bands, our starting staff was Randy and an overrated Benes and a couple marginal. Lineup was very good with a couple holes. Indians manhandled us that series with Omar single handedly turning every ground ball into an out.
Yeah the pen wasn’t that good, but neither was Cleveland’s. Mariners wouldn’t have won the World Series against the Braves that year just like Cleveland didn’t because it was pitching vs offense.

Honestly you tip your cap to the guy. He's good. Ray threw a crap pitch to him but Castillo didnt. 98 off the plate is something that shouldnt be hit out.

And for those clamoring to walk him every time, Im sorry but thats dumb. This isnt a Mike Trout situation where you can pitch around him to face a guy like Jared Walsh. Bregman is a good hitter and he showed you why by homering and getting an RBI single off our best reliever. Tucker who is the following hitter is also great. They are a great team and Alvarez is a top 3 hitter right now. There's such a thing as good process poor results and its playing out here.
That is where Jerry really needs to be good this off-season. Not going to be able to get an offense as good as Houston’s but it would be nice to get a full lineup and not how it was this year where it seems throughout the year there were only 2 good hitters at a time. Going into this postseason I think everyone would’ve taken 5 runs a game or whatever the average is.

Big game today. Would really like to see our boys rally up for a win in front of their hometown fan base.
If we can score 4-5 runs I like our chances.

Win today and go into tomorrow playing with house money, as nobody realistically expects this series to go back to Houston for game #5.

Well if we can get them to tomorrow and run Gilbert out to the bump on kinda short rest and get a solid 5 innings / 85 pitches or so out of him and sell out completely on relief arms to battle thru HOU's line up ... well anything could happen and we could shock the baseball world and win both games at home and fly to Houston for game 5. Big hopes yea I know. But ya' gotta believe or what is the point in being a fan?

Just really want either a win today or at the very least a well played / close game like the 1st 2 games in HOU.
A 4 hit 1 run offensive performance in front of the hometown fans would be such a disappointment / anti climactic way to end a damn good season.

I thought another dangerous bat was our biggest hole, but this series makes me think its actually a shutdown closer

The way they lost game 1, with 3 different pitchers just making mistakes, setup the rest of the series for those pitchers in particular.

I wasn't worried about the position players being impacted by it, but Munoz, Sewald, and Ray can't help but feel it after that.

I'm not saying they couldn't use more arms, but the combination of first playoffs and that late game loss just got to what otherwise were strong pitchers in the regular season.

Munoz has to end up being your closer next year right? I mean Servais doesn't believe in that it seems, but he's going to have to be the go-to late game save guy.

The biggest bang for the buck is still going to be better hitting. They still need to pick up whatever they can for added arms though.

It was cool to see Felix do the first pitch. Sad he never got to pitch in one himself though. M's wasted a few players to their BS streak.

Julio making McCullers slider look a lot tougher than it is.

He should lay down a bunt next time up if nobody is in scoring position

Should have closed the roof. More noise and better for your batters.
