Kirby has been good, but if it becomes a battle of bullpens, I don't have much confidence.McCuller's making it tough, but we'll get to him or his reliever. Other than shitty ump calls, our guys are holding their own. So happy with Kirby- for a rookie in a play off game he is amazing imo.
McCullers' playbook against the M's has always been throw trash outside the zone and watch them chase it. Been that way for years. Never had to change it because it always works.More like Wholio right now. Hes got to quit swinging at that trash because its all he's going to get.
Feels like this staff has one upper echelon ace and two very capable #2's. They look solid in short series for years to come.7 shutout innings for a rookie pitcher making his first playoff start against this lineup is absolutely incredible.
