The problem with Verlander winning the CYA? As we have often been told....W's are the main stat to be considered in evaluating pitchers. So using the "dp" evaluating method favored by Tool and Die Wolverine fans....Verlander's 14 wins doesn't even give him a shot at the CYA.

Yes, the Tigers moved ahead of Baltimore for that second Wild Card spot. But to keep it, they'll have to beat KC and Cleveland at a better rate than they have so far this season.
