4.63 FIP and xFIP for Norris vs...

what makes you think that Verlander could come close to those seasons the way he has pitched the last 3 years? He has not been on NEAR that level since 2012. If you think a pitcher like Verlander that relies on the strikeout- can all of a sudden go 4 years between cy young seasons WHILE his strikeout rate precipitously declines- then i gotta say- good luck with that.

When the last 15 starts were the healthiest he's been in over two seasons, yes, there's reason for optimism. He tried to pitch over a core injury all of 2014, which in hindsight, was a mistake.
