Well, given this prediction if Martinez stays healthy enough to qualify for the batting title, you're going to have to hope for about a 30-point BA regression from Kipnis, Lindor and Brantley. If any one of those four things fails to happen, you're going to be wearing an avatar of my choosing for a month.

I had to drive through ohio today. Never get those 4 hours of my life back. I see cars on Cement blocks is still in style. The drive home should be just as fun.I really can see why they are so jealous of michigan people

Funny you mention it, because I spent about nine hours driving around Michigan last week and I was shocked at what a shithole it's become.

Judging by the fact he batted something stupid like .351 as a righty vs left handed pitching... its pretty obvious the reason he was having an off year was his knee.. which if fully healed should return him to being a .300 hitter or close to it again.

All you needed was the eyeball test. V-mart's left-handed swing was the worst looking thing I've ever seen. After the Tigers were out of it and did their late July player dump, he really shouldn't have played at all.

Drove to Brighton, then East Lansing, then Grand Rapids, then Muskegon, then back to Brighton then out.

yeah... thats not a 9 hour drive guy... its no more than 3 hours to muskegon from detroit... unless you are driving a horse and buggy... you weren't driving for 9 hours on that trip... you may have been in michigan for 9 hours.. but you most certainly were NOT driving that long. It is 4.5 hours from toledo to st ignace.

Lansing and Muskegon are and always has been dumps... but Grand Rapids economy and growth blows anything away any city in Ohio is doing... you should have spent a little more time there.
