By your definition Pelfrey is a better pitcher than Ventura.

Cain was 3rd in the AL MVP voting last year. Surprised he doesn't get more love from some folks. Guy has been a 1 man wrecking crew at times.
last year was the first year he scored more than 55 runs in a season....

if he has another year like last year no doubt he will get a much higher profile...he was just amazing last year though...i really want to see how Cain and Pollack (on the Diamondbacks do)--- both just were ridiculous last year- both are still in their primes and could do it again- but its would be hard to believe they could top the type of career years they both had last year.

Speaking of stances, mechanics, etc. Alex Gordon sounds like he is trying to change his stance to resemble more 2011 and 2012.

I keep saying this, but the Royals' rotation may not be as bad as people may believe.

Chris Young is probably the best kept secret #5 in baseball, and maybe the most fascinating one for his quirkiness.

i gotta say Mets should be #1, Cubs #2, Indians #3...in my humble opinion anyway....Nationals 4,
You are a homer... the indians at #4 was a gift. I take the cubs, mets, nationals, cards, and diamondbacks rotations over the indians.

The same argument for the royals starters not being as bad as projected can be used to say they will be even worse. Volquez, Duffy, Young, and Medlen all vastly over produced last year. The odds of getting that out of those guys again isnt good, The only royals starting pitcher i expect to have a better season this year is ventura.

Seriously.. You lose a lot of cred when you start bragging about suck ass chris young. That sounds like some homer shit.
