obviously the Tribe's starting pitching begins with 3 really really good starters in Kluber, Carrasco, Salazar--- and a talented but somewhat underacheiving (and still very young Trevor Bauer)
there is a lot more where that came from though
Cody Anderson was great last year and looks a lot better this year- he is throwing GAS in spring training and added a pitch
Mike Clevinger- who they traded for after Tommy John surgery- is throwing GREAT and looks like he could be a top half of the rotation starter
Rob Kaminsky is a very solid lefty they got in the Moss trade- former first round pick that has really good stuff--- Justus Sheffield is another lefty that has a nice ceilign as well.
Tomlin just signed a 2 year contract and while his stuff is not overpowering he has graet command and pitched really well last year after he came back from injury.
This doesnt even count Aiken- who was the #1 overall pick in teh draft until he didnt sign- had Tommy John- and was drafted the next year by the Indians in the top 20--- he has potential #1 or at worst #2 stuff but is still pretty far away.
The Indians starting rotation depth goes as deep is 8 or 9 guys...if they are in it and need to make a move at the deadline they without a doubt have the pitching to make a good deal. Tribe is just LOADED with starting pitching. Not only that- but ALL of them- even the really good guys- are under club control at very reasonable deals for YEARS to come.
