Worst then I thought but I think all of us knew he was hurt and it was somewhat significant.

For once I can't recall when the exact date he said it was but around the end of the regular season Aldon Smith was being interviewed by Maiocco, Barrows and others and he was asked about being seen getting treatment on his shoulder. His response was something like, "Yeah, I don't know how much they want me to tell you. It is what it is. No excuses." Something close to that effect.

A league source confirmed #49ers Aldon Smith underwent a "minor procedure," and that it wasn't related to his Feb. 15 MMA training session.
