lol link me if you can

This he's talking about this one:

2013 NFL Draft: Manti Te'o, Luke Joeckel could fit teams' needs - NFL.com

It's not like they've got two of the better OGs in the league right now as it is, and have added two interior OL in the 4th and 5th rounds over the past two years.

Yea that is the one Crim. I mean seriously why would we draft another guard period unless its to play center and even then I really wouldn't want one in the 1st round. I hear the kid the guy mentioned is going to be a good one but unless he is a once in a generation center I would be pissed if we drafted an OL in the 1st

According to SI's Peter King, Greg Jennings "will likely be disappointed" by his free agent market.
King calls Jake Long another candidate to draw less interest than expected. Jennings is going on age 30 and has missed 11 games the past two years, battling knee and groin injuries. Reggie Wayne's deal could be a logical contract template. The Colts re-signed Wayne last offseason for $17.5M over three years.

Jennings on a Wayne contract would be a no-brainer.

yep, unless he is too obvious in value, clear cut no brainer value, then can't see O-line round 1? so O-line isn't totally eliminated, but unlikely.

then there is still Looney who this writer says Baalke/Harbaugh really like.

Minor cap increase can result in major spending | ProFootballTalk

So what’s the difference between $121 million and $122 million? Glad you asked. (Even if you didn’t.)

Apart from the obvious “32 teams times $1 million” calculation, increasing the cap by $1 million easily becomes a $5 million expenditure for a team. Since signing bonuses and other guaranteed payments are prorated, and because the salary cap never goes down, an extra million in cap space easily becomes another $5 million in current-year spending.

Which under the obvious “32 teams times $5 million” calculation becomes $160 million dollars.

So that’s why the cap being even only $1 million more than expected is a big deal. And there’s a chance it could be even more than $1 million more than expected.

Didn't want to make a new thread:

Bob Glauber: Giants owner John Mara, a competition comm member, said he does not expect any changes to current kickoff rules. Says injuries are down.

Maybe we will get really lucky and we can trade for Revis and keep him for cheap so Revis has a chance to compete against him with Sherman's rival team. No? Come on it's a nice dream.

Cheap? He wants to be the highest paid defensive player in history.

No CB is worth that. Especially not one who just tore his ACL.

This is from Baalke's presser at the combine.

Jennings on a Wayne contract would be a no-brainer.

I don't know what he thinks he is going to get, but it seems like he is reeling from that crummy deal he signed for himself in GB. I mean it did give him 16 million up front, but then only 8 mil spread out over the last 3 years so he seems to be acting like he was dumb and signed a bad deal and now he is going to make the next team pay for his mistake.

If the market isn't there like he hopes, I wonder if he'd panic and sign the best Wayne type deal available to him or if he'd wait until as long as possible to see if anyone changes their mind.

You would think that one of the other NFC North teams would gobble him up, like the Bears seem like a great candidate since Cutler needs more weapons in the passing game. The Vikings would need to replace Harvin if they trade him, and I don't know if the Lions could afford it but they could use another guy to feed off of Megatron's coverage.

49ers Blog and Q&A: Dinner for three: Baalke met with Alex Smith to discuss options

As for another Smith ... Baalke said Justin Smith had successful surgery to repair his torn triceps at Stanford Hospital. "It went as expected," he said. "It went really well. It should be a short rehab for him, and he should be back to normal. "

Baalke said Smith would be on hand for the start of training camp in late July.
