Tell me you are rebuilding without telling me you are rebuilding.

this pretty much takes Soto off the board and MAYBE takes Snelk off the board.

For the record, I am OK with this. We are not “one player away”, so why concentrate “one player”? We have an OK core right now, but it isn’t enough yet.

Depends on how you view MLB capable. Porter has played in the big leagues.
I’d like to see Sabol moved to the outfield full time. Maybe his bat would improve.
There is a solution and it rhymes with BooCrack.

That undermines Bailey’s position. Why bring in a top 10 catcher in all of baseball when you already have the (second) best defensive catcher in all of baseball?

You bring in the Sac and ask questions later.

Sasaki was just posted.

IMO, you do whatever it takes to get him. Then, you sign Kim and call it an offseason.

Sadly, wouldn't solve our SS problem.
I don’t really think we have a “SS problem”. We have a SS who can simply play anywhere on the diamond, so we are able to view SS as an area for improvement.

Sad story. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth towards the Giants. They kinda did him dirty.

But he did give us our favorite player…

Thought experiment for SP:

Nathan Eovaldi.

Pros: no draft pick compensation, solidly above average starter, all star two years ago, takes the ball every five days, solid K/BB ratio

Cons: will be 35, might demand multiple years, still has doyer stink on him.

Projection: 2/50
