I said this back in 2016. I think Durant would have joined Golden State, even if they had won the 2016 Finals.

He just wants to win, and he also didn't want to play in Oklahoma City anymore, and Golden State had the cap space because the cap number jumped by a lot that one year.

He would finally get to play with an interesting frontcourt combination, of Kessler and Markkanen.

Previously, he had only Aldridge, or only Nurkic.

Zach Collins never seemed to be in lineups with Nurkic.

The Jazz would still need stronger perimeter defense. Not sure how they could improve there.
