Astros getting Verlander, nice addition for them, and their rotation is excellent. With Alvarez and Altuve back now, I think the Astros may be the favorites in the AL once again now and it wouldn’t shock me to see them back in the World Series.

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that the Brewers have agreed to acquire left-hander Andrew Chafin from the Diamondbacks.
No word yet on what the Diamondbacks will be receiving in return. Chafin has appeared in 43 games on the season, registering a 4.19 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and a 49/18 K/BB ratio.
