I’m not sure swapping guys that suck with Miami is going to factor much.
So the Twins strategy was to do nothing and bank on Guardians handing division to them. LOL
Gotta save that money!I’m not sure swapping guys that suck with Miami is going to factor much.
Yeah I don't buy this for a second. Great young core of position players in place, Senga and Diaz locked up, Lindor in his prime, restocked the farm and we still have the richest owner in baseball. This is what you say to an aging vet to get him to waive his no trade.
That is a lot of money paid to a guy dumber than a box of rocksEduardo Rodriguez vetoed a trade to LA??... To be closer to his family in Miami....
Flight from Detroit = 3 hrs.

not quite yetMax Scerzer might be cooked.

Now struggling to get out of the 1st inning against the White Sox...........Robert and Jimenez not even playing.

Max Scherzer rebounded from a three-run first to shut out the White Sox for the next five innings and pick up a win as the Rangers prevailed 5-3 on Thursday.
All three hits Scherzer allowed in the first were soft singles, but Scherzer definitely compounded the problem by walking two, including Yasmani Grandal with the bases loaded. Once past the first, Scherzer had no further problems, and the Rangers offense was able to pick him up. He ended up with nine strikeouts, one off his season high. He went without allowing a homer for just the second time in his last 11 starts.
