I do believe the Canucks will be making 1 or 2 trades to shore up depth. I can not see them making another big splash.

As for the Flames, they need to trade Hanifin and I hope Conroy can secure a great package. Sounds like Tampa, Florida, and Boston are the main teams interested. Maybe Noah will be dressing in the Tampa dressing room on Thursday night?

Can see Toronto making another trade like the one for Boosh. Depth d-man. Maybe a mid scoring winger if there’s one available for a B prospect like Niemala. Not much else.

Legit the first time since 05-06' the Penguins are sellers. This should be fun.
Granted, last year they should have also, but that is what Hextall does to an organization.

Just remember the last time the Penguins were sellers and traded away one of their top forwards, that team won the Cup.

Markstrom has how many years left on that deal? if its more than 2 I cant see anyone wanting to pay a large price for his age and cap hit.

Conroy has done okay with some of the former Canucks thus far. The Toffoli for Sharangovich trade is looking pretty good thus far (hey maybe the Canucks re-acquire Toffoli) and we'll see how the Tanev trade pans out. If he can get a good package for Markstrom, it could go a long way to putting the Flames on the right track.

Yeah I heard that also and it is made mention in the linked article. I find it silly that he wouldn't ask Rust, that contract is awful and will not age well.

The Toffoli for Sharangovich trade is looking pretty good thus far (hey maybe the Canucks re-acquire Toffoli) and we'll see how the Tanev trade pans out. If he can get a good package for Markstrom, it could go a long way to putting the Flames on the right track.

I like alot of what Conroy has done. I only want Toffoli if its super super cheap. I would rather go with this team than trade more drafts/prospects.
