As slot corners go, he couldn't hold a candle to Hilton or Stutton. Shit he wasn't even playing the same sport when it came to coverage.

Obviously feels slighted... Maybe he should get himself an agent instead of doin handshake deals then feeling scorned when he doesn't get what he thinks he deserves.

Steelers picked up, at a minimum, 3 new CB's in FA and the draft who immediately leapfrogged his ass as actual defensive CB's. Him taking more than 100 or so defensive snaps this season would have been a failure for the team.

The writing on the wall should have come when they signed Sullivan, granted their rankings are about the same but Maulet probably thought he was worth more and got pissed.

Anyway they are, on paper, better off at DB today than they were at the end of last season.

Yep. It was obvious they needed change at several positions that had grown stagnant or unproductive. Guess we should be thankful that they didn't feel backed into a corner and needing to keep some of those guys around. ESPECIALLY the reindeer.

Seems like ~30% is pretty standard turnover actually... More evidence to prove how stable this franchise really is. Seems like when players reach the end of their contracts they just cut ties if they don't work out.
