blazers were rather hamstrung

getting nance for a non lotto pick is fine.

I’m not sure what they can really do.

they should sign hartstein. They can at least make moves around the edges to give themselves a chance

the wizards set themselves up to be better long term, but they may take a step back this year

or they use rui deni gafford ksipert and expiring salary to get another piece for them

5 agreed. Looney can be decent but adding a legit backup c like hartStein would be a nice get as well.

Yeah the Cavs needed a backup center too but I think he did prefer the west coast. Both those teams could use him too haha

That’s tough.

I mean you have Kyrie, Harden, LaVine and Beal who are all not great at defending. I dont know about Miles Bridges defense but it isn’t great. I would go with a big, DeAndre Ayton

Of all of the potential trades I've seen the Lakers linked to, this one might make the least amount of sense. There is no way it could happen without moving Westbrook and he is the last thing a team like the Cavs need.

So they would have to involve a 3rd team just to have a shot at getting assets that the Cavs might be interested in. No point in the Cavs getting involved in something like that when they can just deal with one team directly.

My issue with him is defense

Wasn’t that his strength coming out of college?

Maybe he could focus more on D without having to bare the offensive load the whole season, like in Utah.
