Ah makes sense now. But still... Any other year would have been ok to seek a bigger deal... Apparently this guy didn't get the memo that league-wide everyone is pretty damn strapped for cash.

Steelers asking price better not be anything lower than a packaged 2nd Rder. 2nd & a player or 2nd & a lower end pick (5th?) .

Yeah, I think 2 is about their negotiating point here for Nelson.

Maybe he goes searching for a trade partner and no one will offer him the kind of contract he wants, and then shuts up and plays out his obligation.

Might as well let him do the legwork, otherwise, he's just a disgruntled player.

I haven't watched much of either as of late... But from what I recall Jackson was great when healthy. Just struggled to stay on the field. Fuller was decent. With how well Pierre Desir looked in limited playtime last season, and Layne still waiting in the wings (hasn't looked very good) they have fallback options. I'd probably go for higher ceiling here with A Jackson.

jackson's still young, and he had injuries didnt he? good draft pedigree at least. Absolutely a market for fuller.....
