He’s just not consistent,” Vigneault said after having Myers paired with Nate Prosser with the extra defensemen at Wednesday’s practice in Voorhees. “He’s getting opportunities to be first on the puck, a big body like himself. We’ve talked to him about it, we’ve shown him video. We expect him to be better than he’s shown so far.”

It’s at least out on the desk at this point. They’re doing everything wrong when it comes to preventing goals. They don’t cover well. They don’t exit the zone well. They turn pucks over. They don’t back check. They puck watch. The goaltending can be porous. The PK sucks. They aren’t physical. And its pretty much every single player on the team.

I don’t get it. They’re better than this. Even people who are not sold on this roster, have to believe they’re better than this at least.

At 5 on 5 they started 100% of their shifts in the offensive zone. They were outscored 2-0, had 0 scoring chances, and allowed 2 high danger chances. They only had 6 minutes of EV ice time, but they were a train wreck.

Hagg and Braun were the best dmen (arguably their best players) last night when you look at the fancy stats. Props to them, they legit played well, but the Flyers are going no where fast if those 2 are their best dmen.
