I've seen Lucas and Carl in the same room - and I am not at liberty to discuss it.

I've talked to Carl here and there... He was going to come to an Iowa/Northwestern game and hang out with Cyanide and I, but his family got ill and the weather was really bad. I think he needs a break from here. I am sure he will be back soon. He got tired of a few things and needed a break.

I would be good with Peko coming back on a 1 year deal with some incentives or a roster bonus if he is on the roster come week 1.

I saw an interview with Zach Kerr ( who is a super nice guy ) and he had some interesting things to say ... He, like Peko, are both free agents and I personally hope both return, but Zach said that the culture and the feeling he got inside Bronco HQ was not what he had expected ....

He went on to say when he was with the Colts, the view of the Broncos was that of an organization that prided itself on championships and nothing less - he considered it at the top of the NFL franchises .. So when he arrived, he was surprised at the lack of accountability and lax attitude ..

He was obviously pointing to the staff, and each time he was pressed to name names, he would say that ultimately, it is the player on the field to make or break a team's success ....

Kerr said he wants to return, and he also said that he feels awful because, while not his doing, his tenure with the Broncos just happened to be the two worst seasons in franchise history ...

I can imagine Peko feels similar ...

Thanks, MH. The first one I posted there made it to the top of their page as the lead story for about a day. I’m going to keep at it. Sometimes I think I do better work in the off season and maybe I can keep a steady dose of fresh content flowing in the slow months.
