A lot of things can be worked out. Choo can still play ball. But for how long? If you eat part of contract something could be done. He is not a swing for the fence guy every time which is actually usable. However Calhoun needs his spot IMO despite word that Cho can play some 1B. A numbers game, player wise and money wise

Do you think that Darvish will command only 18 million? Clubs pay more for one year contracts Fact. I said this needed to be addressed soon and it has been. Now JD has a better direction to work with. That may deter Guzman's playing first a while. Always a possibility Adrian may end up injured and things will change.

One of the first things this front office needs to do is keep Cashner. If we sign better guys, which is a big if, Cashner would be still be a great #4 or #5.

The Cashner experiment worked and is worth a longer term deal. Should be a no brainer. Finding pitchers who can win in this ball park is not an easy thing. Darvish struggled to do it.

A lot of pitching coaches let go. Could be bullpen coach. Wish we had A guy of Wash caliber to help Odor be better defensively. Bogar has been let go

Baseball is a game of results and consequences.

The Rangers bullpen didn't get results in 2017 and the man in charge will pay the consequences. A source confirmed Tuesday night that the Rangers will make at least one change to the coaching staff this offseason: Bullpen coach Brad Holman will not be retained.

One down and my suspicion is he won't be the last.

I agree.......When the Twins only got the 3 in the 1st, when they could have gotten at least 5, I didn't get a good feeling........But again, your point is taken.

As crazy as that game was, I'm not sure a 5 spot would have made a difference. Just a bonkers game, and another reason why I support the WC winner-moves-on concept.
