He is a decent back up on a veteran minimum deal, who cares? Signing people to that amount of money is required if the Lions are going to get a deal done with Suh
Man o Man. I sure as hell hope the Front Office can stop having such large amounts of dead $$$ from here on out. The majority this year is on Suh but even the dead $$$ in Houston and Bush.. Pitiful, absolutely pitiful. not trying to continuously
buttttttt.... you could get two pretty damn good players with Suh's, Houston's and Bush's dead $$$ of 17,193,383.00. There will always be some dead money at issue.
the team has $109.6 million tied up in the active roster. Another $17.4 million is tied up in dead money, paid to previously released players, including Bush. Also included in that total is the $9.7 million carryover from Suh's rookie deal, which will be there whether he re-signs with Detroit or not.

Your wrong again... Big Blue probably has enough command sense to know that with Suh not signing a Contract extension a couple of years ago which could've prevented the restructuring and the mess now. Nope, no way am I putting it all on Lewand, I'm going to save some of the blame for Suh when he hits the road and bails on the Lions fan base while were stuck with the Wonder Twins.
I don't recall which one of the Wonder Twins said Stafford is going to have a big year in 2015. But this would work out prefect because the Lions don't Showcase the Offense and Defense in the same year. I just hope it's not Deja Vu with Mike Martz Offense trying to outscore Joe Berry Defense in Rod Marinelli's Tampa2 scenario.
Suck it Paulus. isn't there another garbage cast off from another team out there for you to want to bring to Detroit who can resurrect an already nothing career and become a huge contributor with the Lions? Why don't you talk about that?Seriously, that HearTheMeow guy was a real assbag...
You must mean like George Johnson, or Rashean Mathis... they were considered garbage "cast-offs" when we signed them. Mathis was rated the #12 CB in the league last year.Suck it Paulus. isn't there another garbage cast off from another team out there for you to want to bring to Detroit who can resurrect an already nothing career and become a huge contributor with the Lions? Two hits and 80 misses on your record there Millen Jr.You must mean like George Johnson, or Rashean Mathis... they were considered garbage "cast-offs" when we signed them. Mathis was rated the #12 CB in the league last year.
But not bringing in free agents for a look is a way smarter strategy. You old fucking windbag...
Oh yeah, bring everyone in for a visit and have them run around for a few minutes and then maybe offer them a contract. What a brilliant strategy!!! Let's call it trash day at Allen Park. Maybe we can get it to coincide with their actually garbage pick up and the Lions can really take out the trash.I think your reading skills are slipping with old age. I never suggested signing all of these guys, but brining them in for a visit costs nothing against the cap. If some or any have a good workout and the contract works out for what the team is looking for, then welcome aboard. If not, then no harm done.
This wouldn't be necessary to explain if you knew what the fuck you were talking about, even once in a while...
Skip the PM and instead make a poll thread and put a picture of you with them. Then let people vote on which one they think is the most intelligent? I'm supremely confident you will finish third.Tell you what- I have a good test for you that should help solve all this nonsense.
I'll PM you a picture of your ass, and then another picture of a hole in the ground, and you see if you can tell me which is which...

Knighton is one of the better DTs in the league right now. He's a lot better than mediocre, imo.Yeah, but all that shit will roll off the books next off-season. That is why I would rather they not go after mediocre players such as Knighton and Langford. Just draft some DL and let Cauran Reid play, see what you got in him.
Next off-season you are flush with cash and have a ton of young players with starting experience. Also, you have another draft and cash. The Packers are so solid because they draft players and develop them. You bring in Terrence Knighton. Reid never sees the field and will be cut or expendable next off-season. Another wasted draft pick.
