That's literally what I just said.

I wasn't implying he was gonna be a bad ass if that what you thought.

I took it as he'll be in the rotation the last 1/3 - 1/4 of the year, results are inconsequential unless by some miracle we're in a pennant rush, let him get his work against ML hitters by the end of the season, it might not always be pretty though

Pretty much. I would gladly take that over some Derek Lowe or Jarome Williams type of starter who has zero place on the team in the future.

Believe that's winding.

My goodness, is that right?.....I'm sorry.

I sincerely enjoyed his banter, thoughts and input.

My strong suspicion is winding isn't doing well and therefore, doesn't join us in any Ranger talk. For this I'm sorry....honestly.

Believe that's winding.

It was, though many of us have adopted that philosophy

Darvish, Holland, Detweiler, Lewis, Chi Chi, Thompson, Jackson, Martinez, Tepesch, maybe Bonilla, that's 10 right there... count on a couple other names making the list at some point

They might still sign Baker to a minor league deal if he doesn't land on a MLB club.

Yeah he disappered early in the season than usual, he's usually not here at all during the offseason rumor mill anyway

Time to get worried if he's not here during ST

He may be the RH BP guy JD was talking about signing next week, as a long man.

JD said he hadn't played for texas previously, so it's not him.

That and Grant said they were looking to get him on a minor league deal. The 40 man roster is pretty damn full and I don't know they will be removing to make room for Det yet.

He had back issues in 2013. We love our pitchers with some sort of nagging injury don't we?
No! Nagging is an insult. We demand surgery and fractured vertebra's and the sort.

Thank you.

I've been saying for the longest of times re: pitching, and more pitching makes baseball life better.

As Wastin says...."You need 10 starters every year, ready to go. Injuries, ineffectiveness will get 2+ every season."

Wastin............not exactly what you say, but it's close, right?

Yeah, I always just say you cannot have enough starters. Winding put a number to it.

Oh yeah think I remember that part of the statement now that you mention it. Still a mystery I guess
