Looks can be deceiving. What you don't realize from that photo is - packed inside those boxes are bear, lion and viking steaks.

Some training camp related information:

• Training camp starts Wednesday July 23rd - I may be able to catch this one... head back to Argentina Friday.
• Family Night - Saturday August 2nd
• Couple of inter-squad practices for Packers (one home and one away) on below schedule

For now long it took for him to sign and his current salary with Packers I was not optimistic they would ever get anything for him.

Worked at the airshow for 5+ years back in late 80s/90s, was my summer job. Awesome summer job... but no interest in seeing the show anymore.

Well.... only a few sprinkles during training camp.

Comments:

• Love rode to practice on bike
• Crowd game Zach Tom big applause and congrats on his new deal
• Everyone excited to see Golden on the bike
• Golden (#22) looks so quick on the field
• Jenkins not at practice... starting OL LT Walker, LG Banks, C Rhyan, RG Morgan, RT Tom
• Watson was in jersey and doing some light exercises on side of field close to crowd

First bad news update from training camp... Nate Hobbs had knee surgery for slight meniscus tear and out rest of camp.

I saw late yesterday Packers signed Ballentine again... so above explains that move. I thought Ballentine held his own pretty good when played for Packers end of season 2023 and had to start 6 games.

Damn. I noticed Hobbs out for family night and Ballentine re-signed. Didn't put 2+2 together.

Packers preseason game vs Jets pretty ugly...

Good:
- Not much
- Golden reception and drew a penalty on Sauce Gardner
- Enagbare good pressure when 2nd string defense in

Bad:
- Love 1 of 5 and Willis 4 of 9
- First string offense 0 points, 2 first downs
- Jets went down the field on Packers first string defense
- Rhyan turnstyle block on Jets defensive TD

Ugly
- Packers dropping the ball again... Doubs, Heath (2), Hardman, Abanikanda
- Packers 6 holding calls... Monk alone with 3...
- Total yards 403 to 188.. at one point 322 to 92 late 3rd
- Hardman fumble on punt.... may cost him chance to make the team
