Weird thing is most of the time it's people who hate the Cowboys talking about them the loudest. I've never understood that. I sports hate lots of teams, but I don't spend my time on there forums or fan blogs talking shit about them. I just don't get that mindset.

I will talk shit about teams I hate with like minded fans who also hate them. That's how it should be!

Never called him out, but I've honestly felt like most of his "guesses" weren't that much different than a few others here that just happened to work out. The fact that he never really had anything concrete that he shared before it actually happened could have been part of it. He just seemed like the typical guy that got most of his rumors from MLBTR, which is funny because I watch that site all the time and most of his inside info were things that were written there just before he posted most of his insight here. Anyway he could very well know someone for all I know, but I am always skeptical until someone really proves otherwise

Yep. Have known him for about 30 years now, since I was a young kid. Our families are close friends, although it's been a while now since I last talked to him. When he was manager for the A's back in 85/86, my family and I went to visit him out in Arizona for their spring training. He and his wife went to dinner with my parents, and Dave Kingman and Carney Lansford babysat me for a few hours and played wiffle ball with me. I also have my picture taken with the 1990 World Series trophy he won with the Reds. He and his family are super nice people.

Well, no I would not want him for that price. I had not seen that article. I have a feeling we will get a pitcher who falls through the cracks and winds up not getting what they want. Maybe a mid to late January signing.

The Rangers just don't put up with information getting leaked out.
