I went to the Niagara falls when I went to Toronto. It was the first day of spring and it was 25 degrees outside. I was frozen to my core, but I've never seen anything more beautiful.
Montreal was amazing fun!
Leyland is done, don't know if a contract wasn't offered, he's retiring, or both (probably both)
He told Dombrowski before the post season that he was going to retire. They knew about it, but didn't say anything out of respect for him I gather.Didn't see that coming. I wonder why he stepped down. Wash might be the only dugout smoker now.

Oh ok thanks. I missed that, although I haven't been really watching the games either, just fast forwarding through them. This year just pissed me off.

Same here. Just can't get fired up. Ranger at heart! Nothing else works. Narrow horizons I guess.Oh ok thanks. I missed that, although I haven't been really watching the games either, just fast forwarding through them. This year just pissed me off.
Turned 60 last Saturday. It gets harder and harder to remember yesterday let alone 30.
116? That's good to know. 5 days after the world series I'm leaving it on MLBTradeRumors.com for all the offseason action. JD will make it interesting. Hang in there, Lainey.I'm 66. I remember everything.
Pitchers and catchers report in 116 and a wake up.
Billy Butler could be an option at DH. The Royals are ready to listen to offers. I've always liked his bat, but he's just so damn slow. Could be a back-up plan though. I'd rather re-sign Nelly or Morales, without having to give up anyone.
Billy Butler would be a better DH than we've had, but he has zero value outside of DH, so I don't know how much value you would want to give up for him. So I agree with your assessment on Morales and Nelly. Butler is a joke in the field.Billy Butler could be an option at DH. The Royals are ready to listen to offers. Giants just paid Lincecum 2 year/35 million with a full no trade clause. Do they realize he hasn't pitched well in 2 years?
I watch loads of shows. Sons of Anarchy is on tonight, so I will have entertainment. No Mavs, no Stars, no baseball, and no football. I hate these dead nights
Just read that. Worth the risk but not for that kind of money. Still young-ish I think.Giants just paid Lincecum 2 year/35 million with a full no trade clause. Do they realize he hasn't pitched well in 2 years?
