In the past it has been difficult to sign FA pitching because the park was hitter friendly and now it seems we have lost the home field advantage because the home team doesn't have hits flying out of the park the way they used to and it isn't just the loss of Hamilton and Nap. The ball doesn't go out at near the rate it did before the additions to the ballpark. Still love going to the games and watching the team but liked watching them hit more bombs at RBPiA
In one season the park went from number 7 in park factors for homer to number 19. I don't think this year as an outlier either. The ball was not carrying at all.

Is that outlier? I don't want a 5 year deal do a guy already past 30.

then we delete all of the good free agents that are on our list because they are all over 30 and expecting at least a 5 year deal

Per MLB Trade Rumors: There’s some real talk about the possibility that the Rays could see Montreal as a real alternative if plans for a new stadium don’t work out in the Tampa area.

The Rays are locked into a contract with the City of St. Petersburg and Tropicana Field until 2027. Selig says he will intercede at Winter meeting but getting the Rays out of that contract will be almost impossible

Damn the Stars need Lehtonen back. Ellis blows.

I think he's a solid backup. Yes he's given up some head scratching goals but the blue line and turnovers don't help. It's just the life as a backup goaltender in the NHL.

Kari needs to get some PEDs or something. Keep that man on the ice.

If somehow they can move up there it would be an awesome deal. It's a great great city and sports town. But I don't see them moving anytime soon especially if they're bound to a lease or contract.

I think Kari would have came back earlier if it was more of a critical stretch but given its the first few weeks of the season and it's a full 82, I think they're purposely taking their sweet time right now and make sure he gets back 100%.

Have you been to Toronto? That's another fantabulous city and great market and sports town. And if you haven't been I'd recommend you making a trip up to Quebec City. Very very cool city.

The Ducks have so many good players. This is gonna be a tough game, but usually the games between these two teams is really fast and physical.

That was a lapse, but its pretty hard to shut down that power play line. Shouldnt leave anyone that much space, but against a great line sometimes you just have to watch and envy
