Ended up not getting either of them... yet. Sticking with Freiermuth and I picked up Engram off the wire. I also picked up a draft pick for a little more ammo come trade deadline time, if need be.

heres the thing about Freiermuth. He is very consistent. (kinda underappreciated) He normally doenst have that Boom week but usually doesnt have that bust week either.

I tried telling my son this in his league, but he was enamoured with that Boom TEs. Long run he would have done better just sticking with the Steelers TE. LOL (I told him)

Also saw that Hackysack, Hackensac, or Hockenson may be back soon if youre looking to stash a guy. Darnold seems to throw to everyone.

He is already stashed on someone else's IR. I feel like Engram and Muth should make for a decent committee. We will see.

So, we have come to my first real bye week dilemma of the season. I don't like to carry backup IDPs unless one of my studs is on a bye and I don't want to drop him. That happens this week and my RBs are pretty tight with a couple on bye. If Mixon sits this week, I will be forced to start Jerome Ford and Roschon Johnson and will have Mixon out and Achane and Aaron Jones on bye. So, I can't really drop any of them. At WR, I will have Amari Cooper and JSN on my bench and I don't want to drop or trade either of those guys. I have Fields as my backup QB and I would rather not drop him. I have Engram and Freiermuth at TE. I may be able to dump Freiermuth if Engram plays, but I fear Mixon and him may both be game time decisions.

Also, Ty Chandler is available on the ww and I would like to grab him if I can. It is possible to pick him up and drop him for someone else (bye week LB) and it would prevent anyone else from picking him up until next week. Kinda shitty, but it is a strategy. Chandler is on a bye, so he may not be on anyone's radar. Plus, they are downplaying Jones' injury and expect him to be back after the bye with no problem.

Or am I putting too much stock into Nick Bolton as a stud IDP and should throw back both of my LBs for new ones this week and run with what I have on offense?

Think you should try to cycle IDP, you never know, I've been able to get my bye players back the following week frequently enough that it makes it a better strategy, imo

Flashback to a week ago and I was in here asking for advice on trading for LaPorta. I offered the dude Stefon Diggs for him straight up and he declined. I traded Diggs and my 10th for a 2nd and scooped up Evan Engram off the ww.

LaPorta owner just posted on the chat board that he was willing to deal after losing this week and going to 1-4. I hit him up and ask about a couple of his guys, but long story short, we struck a deal... LaPorta and his 11th for Freiermuth and my 5th. So basically, I traded Diggs for LaPorta, only now I gain a 2nd and 11th and lose a 5th and 10th.

I actually hit him up since he hasn't accepted on the site yet and asked if he would switch Engram for Muth. I think I can trade him for a mid to late round bump. I may be able to do the same with Engram, but Muth has been steady and more importantly, healthy.

QB is a bit weaker than I had hoped. I had to grab 1 at 11, knowing that my 12th was my keeper pick. And then, they dried up with a backup run. Right after I drafted Hollywood, I remembered that I drafted Bijan and should have gotten Allgeier there and he went right before my pick in the 14th. Other than that, I like it. Deep in the meat and potatoes (RBs and WRs) and I like Tua if he can stay healthy. If not, it looks like a streaming QB type team, which I have ridden to the ship before. I was stoked that Bijan fell.

Keeping Nico paid off big time. It's ashame he went on IR. Killing me in one league

Deadline for trading picks is this Thursday night at kickoff. Trying to figure out whether I want to dangle a high pick out there for something, but a little unsure of what I would want. Barkley or James Cook could be had, but they would be pricey. Josh Allen is possible. Or roll with what I got?

12 teams... I can stream. Guys like Daniel Jones, Bo Nix, Russ, Desean, Rattler, Levis are at the top of the list.
